Ingredients:
- 1kg fish fillet
- 7tbsp all purpose flour
- 7tbsp corn starch
- 1tsp baking powder
- salt and black pepper
- 1/2 can cold beer
- 1/3 cup cold sparkling water
To-do:
- Set aside 2tbsp all purpose flour.
- Mix the remaining 5tbsp all purpose flour, 7tbsp corn starch, baking powder, salt and black pepper.
- Then add cold beer and sparkling water. Mix well until you have a thick, smoot batter.
- Place the batter in the fridge to rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Meanwhile, lay fish on a paper towel and pat dry. Season with little salt.
- Heat oil.
- Coat the fish fillet to the remaining 2tbsp all purpose flour then dip into the prepared batter.
- Then fry until the batter is crisp and golden.
