Ingredients:
Marinating chicken:
- 3pcs chicken thigh fillet
- 1tbsp rice wine
- white pepper
- salt
For the sauce (mix all):
- 3tbsp mirin
- 60ml water
- 3tbsp soy sauce
- 1tbsp rice wine
- 1tbsp honey
For garnish:
- sesame seed
- green onion
To-do:
- Marinate the chicken fillet with appropriate amount of salt, white pepper and 1tbsp of rice wine. Mix well and let it rest.
- Then prepare the teriyaki sauce. Test the flavor.
- Add oil into the pan. Fry chicken with skin-side down. Cover the pan and fry until golden brown.
- Open the cover and flip the chicken. Then cover the pan for a while.
- Check the chicken if it is cooked. If cooked, open the cover and add the sauce with skin-side down.
- Then cover the pan again and change to low heat so the chicken can absorb the sauce. Open the cover when only few sauce left and flip the chicken. Then let it cook for more minutes with cover on.
- Cut into bite portion and garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds.
