Sotteok Sotteok / Korean Sausage and Rice Cake Skewers


Ingredients:

  • Small sausages
  • Rice cake / tteokbokki (cook rice cake and soak in cold water)
  • Skewer
Mustard Sauce (mix altogether) + ketchup:
  • 1tsp grated onion
  • 2tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp mustard
  • 1tbsp sugar

Gochujang Sauce (mix altogether, cook 3 mins in medium high heat)
  • 2tbsp gochujang / hot pepper paste
  • 2tbsp ketchup
  • 2tsp sugar
  • 2tbsp water
  • 2tbsp grated onion
  • 1/4tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2tsp sesame seeds
To-do: 
  1. Skewer rice cake and sausages alternatingly. 
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Fry sausage and rice cake skewer until golden.
  3. Put mustard and ketchup sauce or gochujang sauce on top of the skewers.
