Ingredients:
- 250g black beans
- 600ml water
Seasonings:
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 3tbsp soy sauce
- 50g brown sugar
- 1tbsp vegetable oil
- 60ml rice syrup
- 2tsp sesame oil
- 1tsp sesame seeds
To-do:
- Wash black beans until clean and soak for 10 hours.
- Cook in a pan with 600ml water for 30mins in medium heat.
- Turn off heat. Add seasonings: garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil and cook for 10mins in low heat. The sauce will become thick and little. Check the softness of the black beans. It should be half soft not mushy.
- Turn the heat into medium high heat. Add rice syrup and cook for 10mins or until the brine is all evaporated.
- Turn off the heat and add sesame oil and sesame seeds.
- You can store for a long time in a fridge and have it as snack or appetizer.
