梅乾菜 滷肉飯 Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables using Pressure Cooker


Ingredients:

  • Pork & Preserved Vegetables ratio = 5:1
  • 500g Diced Pork
  • 100g Chopped preserved vegetables / 梅乾菜
  • 2tbsp Minced red onions
  • 2tbsp Minced garlic
  • 2tbsp Chopped green onions 
  • 2tsp white sugar/brown sugar/rock sugar
  • Soy bean sauce
  • Cooking wine
  • Water
  • White pepper
To-do:
  1. Add a little bit oil on heated pan. Using medium high heat, sauté pork until white color.
  2. Reduce to low heat and stir fry for around 3-5 minutes until the pork oil comes out. Then turn heat to medium.
  3. Add red onions. Stir well.
  4. Add garlic and green onions. Stir well.
  5. Add preserved vegetables.
  6. Add sugar, soy bean sauce and cooking wine.
  7. Add appropriate water.
  8. Move the pork into pressure cooker. The water level can be 1cm more than the pork.
  9. Add white pepper.
  10. Pressure cook for 20-25 minutes.
