Easy Stir Fried Burdock / 日式炒牛蒡


Ingredients:

  • 300g burdock, thin sliced with slicer and soak in the white vinegar added water
  • 200g carrot, thin sliced
  • 1pcs garlic, minced
  • 2tbsp mirin
  • 1tbsp sake
  • 2-3tbsp soy sauce
  • 1tbsp sugar
  • 1tsp sesame oil
  • 3tbsp white sesame seeds
To-do:
  1. Add minced garlic in the preheated pan. Then add burdock and stir well.
  2. Add carrot and mix well.
  3. Add mirin and sake. Cook a while to let alcohol evaporate.
  4. Add soy sauce, cover with lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add sugar and sesame oil. Mix well.
  6. Turn off heat and add white sesame seeds. Can be served in cold or warm.
