Airfried Crispy Potato



Ingredients:

  • 2pcs potatoes
  • 1-2pcs garlic (minced)
  • 1tbsp butter or vegetable oil 
  • 1/2tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground white pepper (or black pepper)
  • Fresh chives
  • Salt
To-do:
  1. Slice the potatoes every 1-2mm. Make sure to not slice all the way to the bottom.
  2. Tightly wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil and air fried at 180°C for 20 minutes. Unwrap them. Let them steam out a little to make them extra crunchy in the next step.
  3. Heat your butter (or oil) in a small pan. Add minced garlic and fry for a few minutes. Add all the spices and the salt and mix well. 
  4. Use the spice butter and brush it onto all the potatoes. Make sure to brush evenly and try to add some of the spice butter into the cracks and gaps between the slices. This will make the potatoes more flavorful in the center.
  5. Place the potatoes on the aluminum foil in the air-fryer and air-fry (or bake in the oven) at 160°C for another 30-40 minutes. 
  6. Remove the potatoes and serve while hot!
