Ingredients:
- 1 Dory fish
- Salt and pepper
Flour mixture (set aside few dry flour ingredients for dusting):
- 150g all purpose flour
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1/2tsp baking soda
- 125ml COLD soda water (I used beer, pour little by little)
- 1/2tsp paprika powder
- 1/2tsp onion powder
- 1/2tsp garlic powder
- 1/2tsp salt
Tar-tar sauce (mixing altogether):
- 3tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/4 lemon zest
- 1pcs gherkins (small diced cut)
- 1/4 onions (small diced cut)
- 1/2pcs eggs (optional)
- pinch of salt
- pinch of black pepper
To-do:
- Flour mixture: mix all the dry ingredients. Set aside few tbsp dry ingredients for dusting the fish before mixing with the wet ingredients.
- Add soda water (I used beer) in the dry ingredients.
- Coat fish fillet with dry ingredients then wet ingredients.
- Fry until golden brown. Serve with tar-tar sauce.
