- 1 white snapper fish (cleaned, dried and cut diagonal notches from the top fin to the belly)
- 6pcs garlic (mashed)
- 3pcs green onions (separate white and green parts: mashed white before cutting, long sliced)
- 20g ginger (thin sliced)
- 1pcs red chili (thin sliced)
- 1tbsp sesame oil
- 2tbsp rice wine
- 2tbsp soy sauce
- 1tbsp sugar
- 1tsp white pepper
To-do:
- Add sesame oil and fish on pan. Turn on the heat, close lid. When it turned brown color, flip it over.
- Using the remaining oil, sauté white green onions, garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add rice wine, soy sauce, sugar, white pepper and water. Add water until half high of fish. Mix well and close lid.
- Cook around 3 minutes and rotate the fish before flip it over. Close lid and turn on to medium high heat until the sauce begins bubbling. Shaking the pan to prevent sticking.
- Add green parts of green onions and red chili. Mix well, then add sesame oil.
- Ready to eat :)
