Ingredients:
- 60g all purpose flour
- 1tbsp potato starch / corn starch
- 1/2tsp salt
- 150g water / vegetable stock
- 8 green onions, trimmed to fit your skillet
- 1/2cup seafood (shrimp, squid, clams), chopped -> marinate with pinch of salt + ground black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 fresh red pepper, sliced
- Vegetable oil
For dipping sauce (Mix altogether):
- 2tbsp soy sauce
- 1tbsp white or apple cider vinegar
- 1/2tsp gochu-garu (Korean hot pepper flakes)
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1tsp toasted sesame seeds
To-do:
- Mix dried ingredients: all purpose flour, potato starch, salt.
- Add water and mix well. The batter should watery.
- Heat pan and add oil. Meanwhile, add green onion into the batter. Coat green onions well with the flour batter.
- Then add green onion into the skillet. Make a line and distance.
- Coat seafood with flour batter. Add above green onion.
- Add beaten egg.
- Add fresh red pepper.
- Fry for 6 minutes in medium heat. Press in-between with spatula.
- Flip over, add vegetable oil and cook for 3 minutes.
- Flip over, cook for 1 minute in high heat.
