Reverse-Seared Steak / Easy Air Fry + Pan Seared Steak

Ingredients:

  • 250g good quality rib eye steak (mine was 2cm thickness)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Butter
  • Oil
  • Crushed garlic
  • Thyme and rosemary
To-do:
  1. Thaw frozen steak to chiller 1 night before. Pad dry the steak and add salt & black pepper two sides.
  2. Bake in 90 degrees for 30 mins in the air fryer. No need to flip over.
  3. Add oil and butter in the heated pan. Transfer the garlic and herbs on top of the steak and baste the steak with the butter using a large spoon.
  4. Baste for 30-45 seconds (depends on the cooked level you desire) and flip and baste another side for 15 seconds.
  5. Rest the steak for 10 minutes before eating. Happy cooking :)
