皮蛋瘦肉粥 / Pork and Century Egg Porridge




Ingredients:

  • Porridge
  • Century egg (cut into large chunks)
  • Lean pork (cut into thin strips/julienned) 
  • Cornstarch
  • Cooking oil
  • Cooking wine
  • Chicken powder
  • Chopped green onions
  • Eggs (mixed well)
  • White pepper
  • Optional: salt (if it is not enough salty)

To-do:
  1. Cook porridge until your desire texture.
  2. Marinate lean pork with cornstarch, cooking oil, cooking wine/water, put aside.
  3. Add pork, mix well and until cooked. 
  4. Add century egg, chicken powder and chopped green onions. Taste and if it is not salty, you can add a little bit salt or more chicken powder.
  5. Add mixed egg and at the same time mix well, don't let it sit on the porridge too long or it will stick to the pan.
  6. Add white pepper and it's ready :)
