Ngohiong / Five Spice Meat Rolls






Ingredients:

  • 500g minced pork (70% lean meat, 30% fat meat)
  • 250g shrimp (big minced)
  • 2pcs green onions (thin sliced)
  • 5pcs big dried mushroom (soaked water, julienned)
  • 1/2pcs carrot (cut small cubed) 
  • 4pcs garlics, 3pcs shallots, 2cm ginger (blend finely)
  • 1tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2tbsp corn starch
  • 3tbsp five spice powder
  • a little bit of sugar
  • a little bit of salt
  • a little bit of white pepper
  • 1 pack of tofu skin (wipe with wet cloth to remove the saltiness)
  • plain flour + water for sealing the tofu skin
To-do:
  1. Mix all the ingredients and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Put the meat on top of the tofu skin. 
  3. Dip the flour water in the surrounding to seal the meat and roll it tight.
  4. Steam meat rolls until cooked.
  5. Air fried in 180 grad for 5-8 mins or until golden browned.
