Braised Pork Ribs with Pressure Cooker


Ingredients:

  • 600g pork ribs
  • corn flour/tapioca starch
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/2tsp white pepper
  • 1tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1tbsp soy sauce
  • 60g onions (long sliced)
  • 200g carrots (big cut)
  • 300g potatoes (big cut)
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 60ml beer

To-do:
  1. Cleaning pork ribs by adding corn flour and a little bit of water, mix well. Then rinse off with water to remove all the blood smell
  2. Mix all the ingredients: salt, white pepper, paprika powder, oyster sauce and soy sauce
  3. Then add pork ribs. Mix well. Let it marinate for at least 40 minutes in the refrigerator
  4. Add a little bit of cooking oil on the pressure cooker. Sauté onions until fragrant
  5. Add carrots and potatoes and stir fry for 1 minute then add salt
  6. Add the marinated pork ribs on top of the carrots and potatoes. No stirring needed
  7. Add beer and let it cook in the pressure cooker for 20 minutes
  8. When the time is up, open pressure cooker's lid and sauté in the pressure cooker to reduce the sauce until your preferred thickness
