Longan Chicken


Ingredients:

  • 1pcs chicken thigh with bone (can subtitue with pork belly)
  • 6pcs dried longan, soak with hot water
  • 4pcs red dates, sliced middle, soak with longan
  • 6pcs whole garlic
  • few long sliced green onion
  • 1tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2tbsp rice wine
  • White pepper
  • Optional: fried tofu
To-do:
  1. Stir fry chicken until fragrant. Add garlic and green onion. Sauté until the garlic turns light brown color or until fragrant
  2. Add dried longan and red dates together with the soaked water
  3. Add fried tofu
  4. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, rice wine and white pepper. Taste it.
  5. Let it cook until the sauce become thick.
  6. And it's ready to serve.
