Ingredients:
Mix all part 1 ingredients (cooked on the pan until simmered and leave it cool)
- 400ml coconut milk (I am using Kara thick coconut milk 200ml and mix with water until 420ml)
- 80g sugar
- 1/4tsp salt
- 1/4tsp vanilla essence
- 4pcs pandan leaves
Part 2 ingredients
- 113g rice flour
- 45g tapioca flour
- 4pcs pisang mas or any sweet bananas (cut into long slice)
To-do:
- Prepare steamer and pre-boil it.
- Mix rice flour and tapioca flour.
- Add in cooled part 1 ingredients. Mix well. The batter should have watery texture.
- Then add a bit of oil on the steamed pan or steamed bowl.
- Add in one big spoon of the batter into the pan/bowl (depends on the bowl size).
- Put it on the steamer and steam for around 5mins or until the surface is getting hard.
- Get out the pan/bowl.
- Add in sliced bananas on the surface and add another one big spoon of the batter or until the batter cover all the bananas.
- Put it on the steamer and steam for 5mins.
- And do step 8 again until you are using all of the batter.
- Cool the banana cake before cutting it.
