Coffee Sponge Cake

 




Ingredients:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 60g castor sugar
  • 1/2tsp lemon juice
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 60g cake flour
  • 15ml melted butter
  • 20ml espresso
  • optional: walnuts or almond to sprinkle on top before baking
Round mold 14cm

To-do:
  1. Beat egg whites with castor sugar with mixer (divide in 3 times) until fluffy (medium speed)
  2. Add lemon juice and beat again until high peak
  3. Add egg yolks and mix well (using spatula or handwhisk)
  4. Add shifted cake flour, mix well
  5. Add melted butter, mix well
  6. Add espresso and mix well (don't over mix)
Bake in air fryer 160 grad in 30mins
