Claypot Tofu / 砂鍋豆腐




Ingredients:

  • 100g pork belly (thin cut)
  • 5pcs garlic (cut half)
  • 3 slices ginger
  • few green onions - white parts (long cut) 
  • 1 block tofu (square size) - deep fried 
  • 4pcs shitake mushroom (thin cut)
  • Potato starch water

Sauce:
  • 2tbsp soy bean sauce
  • 2tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2tsp sugar
  • a bit salt
  • 1cup water
To-do:
  1. Add oil in the claypot and stir fry pork belly until fragrant
  2. Add garlic, ginger and green onions. Mix well
  3. Add mushroom and tofu, sauté until well mix
  4.  Add prepared sauce, close the lid and let it cook for 5 minutes
  5. Taste it. If the sauce becomes too dry, add a bit of water
  6. Add potato starch water to thicken the sauce, mix well and ready to eat :)
