White Snapper Soup with vegetables



 


Ingredients:

  • White snapper or carp (gurame)
  • Chinese cabbage (sawi putih), cut bite size
  • Radish (lobak), thinly sliced
  • Salted vegetable (sayur asin), boiled (rebus empuk)
  • Fresh tofu, dice cut
  • Garlic, pressed
  • Ginger, few sliced
  • Celery (daun seledri)
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt
  • White pepper
To-do:
  1. Add oil into pan, brush with sliced ginger and stir fry fish until golden color
  2. Meanwhile, boil water
  3. Take out the fried ginger
  4. Add garlic and new sliced ginger (remove excessed oil)  then add boiled water
  5. Add radish, Chinese cabbage, salted vegetables
  6. Let it simmer with covered lid for 8mins (the water will become milk white color)
  7. Add tofu, salt, celery, sesame oil and taste
  8. Cook for another few minutes
  9. Add white pepper
  10. Ready to serve
