Taiwan Beef Noodle Soup ver. 1 / easy recipe



Ingredients:

  • Beef flank (skirt)/牛腩 or boneless ribs (牛肋條)
  • 1pcs medium sized onion
  • Butter
  • 2pcs radish
  • 2-3pcs carrot
  • Tomato sauce
  • Doubanjiang / chili bean sauce
  • Sweet soybean sauce
  • Soybean sauce
  • Few cloves and 3cm cinnamon
  • Boiled pak choy / green vegetables (optional)
  • Boiled noodles
To-do:
  1. Add butter on the pan and fry onion until fragrant
  2. Add in beef and stir fry until light brown
  3. Add in water and the rest of the seasonings (tomato sauce, doubanjiang, sweet soybean sauce, soybean sauce, cloves and cinnamon)
  4. Pressure cook until beef is tender (4-5 whistle) and taste the flavor
  5. Add the seasoning according your own taste
  6. Add in radish and carrot, cook until soft 
  7. Serve this soup with noodles and green vegetables
