Gochujang Fried Chicken Sauce / Korean Fried Chicken



Ingredients:
  • 1tbsp cooking oil
  • 4cloves minced garlic
  • 1/3cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/3cup rice wine
  • 1/4cup hot pepper paste (gochujang)
  • 1tbsp vinegar

To-do:
  1. Heat pan and put oil and minced garlic, saute until fragrant
  2. Add tomato ketchup, rice wine, hot pepper paste and vinegar and simmer the mixture for about 3 minutes. Keep the heat low.
  3. Turn off the heat and mix with the fried chicken.

For fried chicken you can use below recipe:
Recipe for about 1/2kg chicken
  • 1tsp black pepper
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/2cup potato starch powder
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
To-do:
  1. Rinse and drain chicken wings & thighs
  2. Add black pepper and salt
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well
  4. Fry using airfryer, sprinkle oil above the chicken and fry 180grad for 10mins, turn it over and fry again for 4mins.
