INGREDIENTS:
- 500g sweet potato (boiled/steamed)
- 40g sugar
- 80g all purporse flour
- 16g tapioca starch
- 1/2tsp salt
- a bit butter
To-do:
- Mash the boiled/steam sweet potato while hot
- Mix all ingredients
- Make into doughnut shape
- Heat up oil in saucepan and fry doughnut on medium low heat
- Flip doughnut every now and then to cook it evenly
- Doughnut are ready when they floats and golden in color
- Coating with refined sugar
Healthier options:
Fry with air fryer, just coat the doughnut with some oil and fry in the air fryer 180 degrees for 10-15mins.
Then coat with sugar water mixture, 70g sugar + 35ml water
