Actually cooking bibimbap is very easy, just use all vegetables you have in your fridge.
What I have cooked last night, as follow:
Ingredients:
- Spinach
- Black fungus
- Carrot
- Soybean sprouts
- Zucchini
- Danmuji - Korean yellow pickled radish
- Kimchi
- Chopped garlic
- Beef
- Gochujang - Korean chili paste
- Eggs
- Chopped green onions
- Sesame oil
- Sesame seed
To do:
For vegetables:
- Spinach: boiled, cut in desire length, add bit chopped garlic, sesame oil, salt, sesame seed, mix well
- Black fungus: mix with salt, sauteing on pan
- Carrot & Zucchini: mix with salt, drain the water and sauteing pan
- Soybean sprouts: boiled until cooked, get out of the water, add salt, garlic and sesame oil
Others:
- Beef: marinate with chopped garlic, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, sesame seeds and cook on a pan
- Danmuji & Kimchi: cut in desire size
- Egg: fried with sunny side up
Plating:
Put all vegetables, beef, fried eggs and green onions on top of the rice and add gochujang, sesame oil and sesame seeds.
